Your role at Finoverse

  • Manage a series of startup pitching programme & demo competitions

  • Build relationships and evaluate competition applications to ascertain their suitability for our programmes and the elements they can participate in

  • Recruit various stakeholders for the programme according to programme KPIs, and overall event objectives

  • Reach out to existing partners and find new partners to bring on board to extend the reach of the Fintech community

  • Reach out, manage, and maintain relationships with VCs, CVCs, Family Offices, and individual investors

  • Monitor programme timeline, and logistics arrangement including arranging meetings, video calls, and networking opportunities

  • Support internal and external communications with programme stakeholders to ensure programme status updates

  • Support on delivery of a press conference to launch the programme, including preparation of a media deck and communications with spokespersons

  • Work closely with the marketing team to design marketing materials for the programme including website content, EDM, social media, and partner announcements

Job requirements

Who you are

  • 7+ years of related working experience

  • Fluent in English and Mandarin

  • Knowledge of Fintech subsectors and technologies

  • Friendly and outgoing person who enjoys interacting with different stakeholders

  • Self-motivated person, able to work independently, and a good team player

  • React rapidly to situations and prioritise your workloads

  • Strong organisational and detail-oriented

  • Excellent time management and ability to manage multiple tasks

  • Experience working with startups and SMEs

  • Interest in the latest innovation trends and technology, such as Web3, Metaverse, Crypto, and the digital economy

Abilities we are looking for

  • Entrepreneurial mindset, understanding startup businesses, investments, and the Fintech industry would be a huge advantage

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, experienced and confident at handling demanding stakeholders

  • Programme or project management experience

  • Flexible and can thrive in a fast-paced and pressurised environment

  • A confident relationship builder who can manage day-to-day conversations with stakeholders

  • Experience with public speaking or giving presentations to stakeholders

  • Strong administrative skills and an ability to meet deadlines
